Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between:
(1) I Saw U First Limited (“we”, “us”, “the clinic”); and
(2) You, the client (“you”).
These Conditions govern the provision of our private ultrasound services. They do not affect your statutory rights.
1. Our Services
We provide diagnostic ultrasound scans carried out by trained, registered medical professionals specialising in fetal imaging. Our sonographers may be radiographers, midwives or doctors.
With your consent, we will perform an ultrasound scan to assess the health and well‑being of your baby. Depending on the scan type, this may include:
-
Measuring fetal growth
-
Confirming single or multiple pregnancies
-
Identifying certain detectable anomalies
-
Reviewing fetal position and placental location
If your sonographer identifies anything that requires further medical attention, they will discuss this with you sensitively and clearly. With your permission, we will refer you to your NHS care provider and share a copy of your scan report. You are responsible for following up with your NHS team.
2. Medical History & Diagnostic Limitations
You understand that we do not hold your full medical history and therefore cannot provide medical advice or interpret diagnostic results beyond the scope of the scan.
Our report is a brief clinical overview, often performed at a different gestation to NHS scans. Detection rates for abnormalities may vary. Your scan is not a replacement for NHS antenatal care, nor is it exhaustive for all genetic or structural conditions.
A copy of our fetal abnormality screening policy is available upon request.
3. Scan Method
We aim to complete all scans abdominally. For early scans (6–15 weeks), a transvaginal scan may be recommended for clarity. Your sonographer will discuss this with you beforehand.
A trained female chaperone is available for all scans. You may decline an internal scan, but doing so may limit the information we can provide.
4. Service Updates
We may modify or improve our services without prior notice.
5. Photography & Recording
To protect privacy and maintain a calm clinical environment, personal photography or recording is not permitted inside the clinic.
6. Age Requirements
